Description

This class will provide students with an understanding of the laws and duties surrounding their job as a REALTOR and working with the public. Students will understand how to write a legally binding contract, the history of and the concepts behind the Fair Housing Act, important sections of the Iowa Code, and how to stay out of trouble with the real estate commission.

CE Credit: 8 Hour Law Update or 8 Hour Elective; or 6 Hour Elective & 2.5 Hour Fair Housing mandatory.
